Student Mobility<\/h3><p><strong><img class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-8005\" src=\"https:\/\/www.vm-bled.si\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/ErasmusPlus-300x84.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"84\" \/><\/strong><\/p><p>Erasmus+ aims to improve young people&#8217;s skills and employability and modernise education, training and youth work. It offers students an unforgettable cultural, linguistic and maturity experience, personal growth, new acquaintances and thus better job perspectives.<\/p><p>Information for students who want to do their placement abroad:<\/p><ul><li>Summer placements abroad are an important part of studying and help to improve graduates&#8217; employability by giving them relevant work experience during their studies. It is important to spend some time choosing the right placement. A lot of information can be found online, both through official company\/school\/university\/agency websites, various rankings and reviews, as well as various forums where (potential) students exchange opinions.<\/li><li>Before you go, obtain a European Health Insurance Card (<a href=\"http:\/\/ec.europa.eu\/social\/main.jsp?catId=559&amp;langId=sl\">http:\/\/ec.europa.eu\/social\/main.jsp?catId=559&amp;langId=sl<\/a>) and arrange an insurance card.<\/li><li>When travelling or staying abroad, you should take out insurance for situations not covered by the EHIC, such as liability insurance, which covers damages for which you are responsible (e.g. if you accidentally break a valuable object while on placement). Health insurance systems vary widely across Europe, so check for each country individually.<\/li><li>You can get a &#8216;Learning Agreement&#8217; from the coordinator, which must be signed by the school, the student and the company before you go abroad. You will also need to arrange a school contract in triplicate and a PRI Report.<\/li><li>Before going abroad, students take a language assessment through the Online Linguistic Support (OLS) course. OLS support provides Erasmus+ long-term mobility participants (Key Action 1) with the opportunity to assess their foreign language skills for use in studying, working or volunteering abroad.
